Facebook owned messenger app, Whatsapp, has launched a brand new app, “Whatsapp Business App” for SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) to make business communication with their implied customers more streamlined. This app will allow business enterprises to interact with its target audience in a similar way as Facebook pages. WhatsApp sees the new app as a convenient platform to help small businesses to connect with its 1.3 billion users. Business news India

·       It is currently available in Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, UK, and the US and will be rolled out across the world in the coming weeks.
·       As of now the app can be downloaded for free and is available for Android users in the Google play store.

·       Regular users can continue using WhatsApp as usual as there's no need to download anything new and according to the officials,  people will know when they’re talking to a correspondent from business enterprise because these accounts will be listed as ‘Business Accounts’.
